Being Well Loved

I had the Lord speak the phrase love well to my spirit once, I was having a difficult time and He chose to love me well and I choose to love others well. I can’t say I have all way done everything right but He has. He loves us well, a poetry friend recently wrote that Jesus is like a thousand flowers blooming over us, not an exact quote.

I say He is like fragrant roses, and He perfumes the air and the very breath around us with Hi love. But in order to receive that satisfaction in our souls we have to love Him well too. While loving us well can bring healing and peace, even deliverance, how do we love Him well, simply by loving Him.

We can spend time in His Word, in prayer and praise, or just thanking Him during the day. Not just saying grace but living it out. Thank you Lord for your unfailing love , for listening to me, for every little way you make my life better. The ways I see and even the ways  I don’t.

Your peace passes understanding. You are in my heart. You love me well so I can love you well. The phrase is in the Bible, the well loved, Gaius. it just means to be much loved. And you can be loved and not spoiled, God’s way. I will give you a few verses, and I can promise you that no one, not even the best parent, loves you more than Jesus.

Jesus answered: Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind. Matthew 23:37

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace that He lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding. Ephesians 1:7,8

See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know Him. Ephesian 3:1

Let love be your guide. Christ loved us and offered His life for us as a sacrifice that pleases God. Ephesians 5:2

Show love in everything you do. 1 Corinthians 16:14

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds., Hebrews 10:24

Beloved, we should love one another, because love is from God; and everyone loving has been born from God and knows God. 1  John 4:7

A new commandment I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so also you must love one another. 1 John 4:21

And we have this commandment from Him: Whoever loves God must love his brother as well. 1 John 4:24

But the one who loves God is known by God. 1 Corinthians 8:3

Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance. Jude 1:2

This is how we love well and how He loves us well.
