Delivering Angels

Daniel is a perfect story of deliverance, well, there are a lot, actually. It is a perfect illustration though of God’s protective hand at work. He is not just protecting you from the little things but the big ones, not just from minor incidents but major catastrophes.

He shall deliver you in six troubles, yes, in seven no evil shall touch you. Job 5:19 So sometimes, even if things do happen, don’t start thinking God was not protecting you, because He was. As a believer, you have the promise of angelic protection and divine intervention.

Psalm 91 gets in our heads, lest we dash our foot against a stone, and we start thinking where were our angels. Believe me, I hate the I’ve fallen and can’t get up commercials, and I’m not even that old, but I have fallen and not been able to get up for a minute or two. I got up and was sore, but thankful. I could have broken something.

Once, I fell and had really bruised and perhaps broken toe, it literally had zebra stripes, black at first and they all colors of the rainbow, but it was nothing worse. Some of these things are spiritual attacks, the devil will run you into the proverbial headlights, but his was because there was water in the floor. Still, I was not hurt bad, the angels did bear me up in their hands.

To further illustrate this a long time ago I fell in the sun room. I wasn’t hurt. But a couple of nights later I dreamed  I had a broken neck, and remember grazin the back of my head on a glass table ever so slightly, and I was thankful. I believe this is a case of deliverance, not only six ways but seven. No evil is touching me.

And that is sort of Romans 8:28 as well, and we try to figure how something bad works for good, a fall makes you thankful, even humble that His angels are hard at work. The enemy does not want you to believe that God is working of to keep His words in your heart.

Have you ever said anything like, ” Well, I guess it’s not His will. ”

” It wasn’t meant to be. ”  ” Nothing works for me. ”

” God only blesses certain people. ” or  ” I must doing something wrong. ”

Stop thinking that way, and stop saying it. Angels respond to God’s words so speak that. And remember Daniel in the lion’s den, the fiery furnace, Peter from prison. And so many more.
