Who Am I In Christ?

I read a request about identity recently and I was working on this post, or series of them and then read something from a fellow blogger. These are some of the verses she had chosen and they are excellent. I suggest you read them, write them and repeat them. I modified them a little and put them on my Pinterest board in Affirmations of Faith.

I remember driving one day in the early 90’s and thinking what a nobody I was, why would God let me write, I had the rejection slips. But He had not rejected me. When the world will because of looks or lack of something, He says come as you are, I will give you rest. I recall my next thought after the nobody one, it was the Holy Spirit. A powerful but gentle whisper. ” You’re not a nobody, as long as God’s got you. ” And you know what? He has.

Ever since I was a little girl I was singing, He’s Got the Whole World In His Hands, Wrapped Up, Tied Up, Tangled Up In Jesus, And Let the Son Shine In, He had, I am and I do. There’s no getting away from His love, let Him catch you even if Valentine’s Day is over. Rebecca Jones / photo by Bryan Aspen / Unsplash, thank you and thanks Gwen for the verses. I left In Christ in bold on purpose, you can always redo in by clicking print in plain text.
