He promises peace to His people. Though the world may not have peace, Jesus left us His peace in John 14:27. He even said it was not the world’s peace. He made sure to explain that. Later on, He will even instruct the Apostle Paul on laboring for the Sabbath rest. The Israelites, didn’t make it, only two spies believed they could conquer.
How much more benefit do we have than they? We have Jesus crucified and risen, as our High Priest. We have the benifit of the written Word, they have Ten Commandments, but Jesus fulfilled the law and the prophets. He gave a new commanment to love one another,
Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith is He, Himself, is our peace. He is the Prince of Peace. If you’ve been depending on anything else, doctors, medicine or even prayers, there’s a shift in the spiritual realm, it’s time to depend on Jesus.
I don’t know what’s coming. I know that prophesy is a gift of the Spirit, although someone may prophesy over you. It is up to you to believe. 1 Corinthians 13 is really all about Jesus giving Himself, It doesn’t matter if a prophetic word spoken over your has come to pass, in faith or even working against you, some evil or cruel words, depend on Jesus, human love fails, people we love die. His love never fails.
On the brink of eternity, His love is pure and sweet and it prevails. It is not fleeting, it is unfailing, it is forever love. It is something like you’ve never seen before, it is if He’s about to pour out the final net upon the fishers of men, and break the net with the load. It’s like He’s about to harvest the what and separate the chaff, before He has to do it ant the Great White Throne.
Are you ready? Are you uncertain? Be sure to accept Jesus as Lord and ask Him for His Holy Spirit. Pentecost has come. There is a season of shaloam peace. There is great love to be received and given. It is a time of fasting and feasting on His Word. It is a time of Holy Comminion, private communion, a time of peace. We have heard that grace and truth came through Jesus. So will His peace.
He will keep us in perfect peace if our minds are on Him. Isaiah 26:3
He is our peace. Micah 5:5 Ephesians 2:8
His peace will guard our hearts and minds. Phillipians 4:6,7
Now you search the Scriptures, speak His affirmations into you life. He wants us to live peaceable lives, so let’s try to do that and be peaceable people, if someone refuses, if they want to continue in fear and worry, you may have to let go, but never let go of Jesus, He promises peace to His people.
