A Heart At Peace

A peaceful heart leads to a healthy body. Proverbs 14:30

“I am leaving you with a gift-peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid. John 14:27 NLT…

(Pray about everything) Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. Phillipians 4:7

And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful. Colossians 3:15

I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13

A glad heart makes a happy face; a broken heart crushes the spirit. Proverbs 15:13  which also ties to

Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the LORD is your strength! Nehemiah 8:10

For whenever our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and He knows everything. 1 John 3:20 ESV

God wants very much to heal broken hearts. It’s important to let go of hurts, the past, and trust Him. We must forgive others, so peace can take hold of us. All these verses are from the New Living Translation, except the last. I like to make the Word as plain as possible, because the enemy, and even well meaning friends, Christians and ministers can confuse us.  I like deep study, but it is so simple. He loves us gave His life. He does want us whole, mentally and physically.  Would any one of us die like that and then leave someone ill? It is up to us, as believers to strengthen our resolve and faith in Him. Take your medicine if you need it. Take God’s medicine, His Word, it will never leave a bad taste in your mouth, and the side effects are most benefiting.
