It Had To Be A Crown of Thorns

Look what our peace cost Him…..
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is–His good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:2 NIV

Let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes. Ephesians 4:23 NLT

He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of His mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit Titus 3:5 NIV

And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of Him that created Him: Colossians 3:10 KJV

We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives Colossians 1:9 NIV

The chastisement/ punishment for or peace was on Him.  Isaiah 53

Why did it have to be a crown of thorns placed upon His head? It should have been a royal one, made up of jewels and gold instead. It had to be a crown of thorns, for in this live that we live, for all who seek to love, a crown of thorns is all the world has to give.  Michael Card Why?

I like to read Bible Hub and different translations, New Living, New International, King James and I’ve been enjoying the Message Bible.  While all translations may not be the same, I have found inspiration in them all.
